Bu site Japon ve Çin sanatıyla ilgili fikirlerinizi ve bilgilerinizi paylaşmayı amaçlamaktadır. Ayrıca mütevazı koleksiyonumdan Çin ve Japon sanatı örneklerini de siteye ekleyeceğim. Çin ve Japon sanatıyla ilgili daha fazla bilgi edinmek isterseniz "Sık Kullanılanlar" sayfama bakmanızı öneririm. Aynı zamanda bu siteye çalışma alanlarımla ilgili konuları-Batılılaşma Dönemi Osmanlı Resim Sanatı, Hayali İstanbul Betimlemeleri, Manzara resimlerinin Osmanlı döneminde konutlarda, tarikat ve dinsel yapılarda yeri ve anlamı, yabancı elçilerin Osmanlı padişahları ve sadrazamları tarafından kabulünü konu edinenresimlerde tercüman figürünün yeri, anlamı- üzerine yaptığım araştırmaları ekleyeceğim. Bunun yanı sıra Osmanlı ressamları, hattatları ve çağdaş Türk sanatçıları ile ilgili bir veri tabanının da burada yer almasına çalışılacaktır.

This web site aims to share your views, ideas and information about Japanese and Chinese art of painting. I shall add images of the paintings in my modest collection in terms of Japanese and Chinese art of painting. If you have any information, views and comments on the topic please feel free to share it with others;  and if you would like to get for more information on the topic please visit my "Favourites" page. This web site deals also with the Ottoman art of painting in the period of so called Westernization, imagery Istanbul landscapes, contemporary Turkish art as well as audience scenes of the Western ambassadors to the Sultan and the Sublime Porte, the art of Ottoman calligraphy, and the tradition of landscape painting in the Ottoman houses, religious and sufi buildings. Last but not the least I say welcome everyone who is interested in the art.
